My Views: First off, I like Nicholas Sparks books usually. I know many people scoff off at his name. But amongst the books of his that I have read, I have liked a few while others have been average. If you are into travel, you should read ‘Three weeks with my brother’, I really liked it.

About this book, it was good to begin with, and then it slowed down considerably in the middle. It’s been quite some time since I picked up a Nicholas Sparks so I forgot how it read like. I have got so used to fast-paced books now that it felt real slow and I did want to stop reading. But well, that quirk of mine of not wanting to leave books unfinished, kept me at it. And I am glad I did.

This is a cute, emotional story about a husband wanting to make amends for being a lousy husband all his life. And if you are one of them, pick up this book now. It will teach you a few lessons. And no, it’s not preachy.

It’s just a cute story. One thing I like about the author’s books is the emphasis on feelings and relationships and how it tugs at the heart.

When you reach the middle phase and feel like its chugging, I would ask you to go on, it pretty much makes it worth in the end.

In all, a beautiful story of love and life. Pick it up when you are in the mood for a slow, relaxed read.
