Guest Post & Giveaway: Eternal by J. A. Belfield

Today let us welcome J.A. Belfield, the author of Eternal and many more books. She is here to talk about-

BOUND FOR ETERNITY? O_O ARE YOU INSANE? O_o

Eternal binding.

In a modern day society where commitment in relationships is rapidly changing, where marriage often terrifies folk or is treated with flippancy thanks to such easy ‘outs’, where ‘Living in Sin’ is no longer frowned upon but fast becoming the norm … the idea of being bound to a singular person for ETERNITY must sound pretty absurd and horrifying.

Right?

But what if you did find that person? The One who, when separated from, you only feel like half of a whole? Who’s so in tune with you, your hearts beat to the same rhythm? The One that the mere thought of them no longer being there makes you feel as though your soul is being ripped from your body because … what’s the point of continuing to occupy a space that they won’t be sharing?

If you’ve ever been 100% totally and utterly in love with a person, then you’ll understand where I’m coming from.

If you haven’t? Then you’re probably right now shaking your head at the screen, wondering what’s going on in my mind, and considering bashing my irrationality.

But just play along … Okay?

For the sake of the post, just pretend I don’t sound crazy, that my words don’t sound irrational, and that you’re not going to elbow your mates in the ribs and tell ‘em to watch out for J.A. Belfield coz she spouts some INSANITY.

Just pretend you have, indeed, met The One.

Now … let’s just pretend you had the opportunity to be bound to him/her for eternity. A reassurance that whatever lay on the other side of death, you would never be apart. That no matter how many times you were both reborn, you would, guaranteed, find each other again.

Would you take it?

Well, would you?

So … who would the lucky guy be then?

And yes, fictional guys ARE allowed in the answers.

Yes, yes, I will totally take that up and I have found that guy for myself. *blush* Have you?

Thank you for this amazing guest post and for being on Reviewing Shelf, J. A. Belfield.

Eternal (A Holloway Pack Story 0.5)

An unmarried woman living in a house of men breeds hearsay and lore. If only the villagers knew the truth.

It’s not Jem Stonehouse’s marital status that brings unwanted strangers to town. Rather, it’s that she is the only female werewolf in existence — a prize to any pack.

Sean Holloway, the love of Jem’s life, has gone to great lengths to protect her. As a new attack becomes imminent, Sean realizes he must take greater measures with Jem’s safety or risk losing her forever.

His first task must be to marry her, but a force greater than the largest werewolf stands in his way.

Her mother.

About the Author

One day, a character and scene popped into J. A. Belfield’s head, and she started controlling the little people inside her imagination, as though she were the puppet master and they her toys. Questions arose: What would happen if …? How would they react if …? Who would they meet if …? Before she knew it, a singular scene had become an entire movie. The characters she controlled began to hold conversations. Their actions reflected the personalities she bestowed upon them. Within no time, they had a life, a lover, a foe, family … they had Become.

One day, she wrote down her thoughts. She’s yet to stop.

J. A. Belfield lives in Solihull, England, with her husband, two children, three cats and a dog. She writes paranormal romance, with a second love for urban fantasy.
