Now that I have had some time thinking about what to read, here I am with my Goal Post. I started reading – witch-y book! Others possibles on my goal list are And I will throw in some non-Christmas-y reads in there like
What will you be reading?
Updates
Day 1- 13.12.2012
I bunked work and stayed at home, cuddled in a blanket with my Kindle. 🙂
Books Read – The Burning of Isobel Key and Bah, Humbug!
Reviews written – The Burning of Isobel Key
Pages Read – 288 + 96 = 384
Snacks – Apart from the three daily meals, I ate quite a lot of cookies, had 2 big cups of Green tea, some almonds and cashewnuts.
Day 2 – 14.12.2012
Work day. *sigh* And I read a review book which wasn’t magical, so well..
Mini Challenge #2
Book Spine Poem hosted by Vicky @ Books, Biscuits & Tea
I’m not feeling very poetic right now, so bear with me. And it’s far from magical, sorry.
So a half-day at work, some sleep and Christmas Card writing and sending done, I picked up a book and wondered why I was reading Devils when I was supposed to read #magical but then I found and Angel (in the book, I mean). Yay!
Book(s) I am Reading – Become (Desolation, #1) by Ali Cross
Pages Read today – 204 (61%)
Mini Challenge #3
I really liked Daughter of Smoke & Bone and have Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke and Bone, #2) waiting to be read on my Kindle.
1. Angel, Devil
2. Innocent, Feathers
3. Wondered, discovery
I’m not sure if I will make it to the twitter chat today as it will be 2:30am my time. I’ll try since it’s Sunday tomorrow, maybe.
I did make it to the chat.
Day 4 – 16.12.2012
Even though it was a Sunday, between a family get-together, finishing 4 work reports and weekly online course assignments, I wasn’t able to read anything. 😦
Wrap-up
This read-a-thon wasn’t very successful with work, assignments and holiday planning. And I realized I don’t do much magical reading so even though I read one more book, I can’t count that since it didn’t fit the magical theme.
Books I finished – The Burning of Isobel Key and Bah, Humbug!
Books I’m in the middle of – Become (Desolation, #1) by Ali Cross
Total Books read – Two and a half
Total pages read – 588
I still think you did great with what you read and you were seriously awesome in making it to the twitter chat! I’ve had a blast this weekend and it was great *meeting* you 🙂
